Profiling 2004

To follow up with the graduates of CCS seminars and the internship and to make sure they do not forget us, we conduct an annual profiling of seminar participants and interns.

We will first request all seminar participants and interns of 2004 batch to fill the first Profiling Questionnaire. Then 5 coordinators from five zones across the country will conduct a detailed profiling with the respondents.

Swati Chawla (LACS Graduate 2004) will be the National Coordinator.  She will coordinate with the regional coordinators and also prepare the final report.

If you have attended a CCS seminar or worked with CCS as an intern in 2004 , please download the Profile 1 and fill in the first Profiling Questionnaire latest by June 30! The regional coordinators will contact you in July for the detailed profiling either in person if possible or by phone.

From the Editor....

Dear Readers:

As a build up for the Austrian Economics Seminar (AES), the eCatalyst this time features web-links and write ups on Austrian Economics. Do not forget to apply for AES and check out the CCS website as soon as possible, since August 5, 2005 is the deadline for application.

Rooted in the tradition of Carl Menger and Ludwig von Mises, as well as Rothbard and F.A. Hayek, the Austrian School offers a rigorous and logical approach to economics.  Subject areas covered at AES are praxeology, the Austrian methodology, 100% gold standard, entrepreneurship, time preference, spontaneous order, market behavior, competition, value and utility, money and banking, business cycles, industrial organization, economic history, the philosophy of science, financial economics, and more.

If this sounds Greek to you, but you still want more of Austrian School, do read the first hand experience of Sumandro at Mises Institute. See our eXpression Section to learn about his experience. Readers , do send in your articles and views, because eCatalyst is your LIVE-WIRE!

Another pleasant news is that , very soon eCatalyst is going to out grow its online avatar and be available in print! So keep your thinking hats and writing pads very close to you!

Special thanks in bringing out this issue, to Riju (Sumandro), Rajan from Jamshedpur and Mana.

In liberty,

Yavnika Khanna
