Short-listed Films by Jeevika Screening Committee
2007
Over 128 films received for Jeevika 2007
This year, we have received more than 128 films all across
the South Asian countries as compare to 85 from last year.
We would sincerely like to thank all the film makers for
showing the interest in Jeevika: South Asia Livelihood Documentary
Film Competition.
The screening Committee would be screening the films from
June 8-10, 2007. We would get back to the shortlisted film
makers through mails. Kindly check the website for further
details.
The Other Highlights of Jeevika Festival includes:
- Inaugural Ceremony: July 20, 2007 at Stein Auditorium,
India Habitat Centre, Delhi
(6-9pm)
- Screenings of Jeevika 2007 & CCS funded films:
July 21-22, 2007 at Casurina Hall, India Habitat Centre,
Delhi (9- 6 pm)
- Closing Ceremony: July 23,2007 at Stein Auditorium,
India Habitat Centre, Delhi (6-9pm)
- Stage Play on the issue of Livelihood at the Inaugural
ceremony
- Rock band on the issue of livelihood at closing ceremony
- Screenings across various colleges, institutes and
schools across Delhi from July 23-August 23.
- At most venues, the screenings will be open for public
viewing.
- 3 day Research & Documentary Film Making Workshop:
