       Dr Tyler Cowen in India

Tyler Cowen is a professor of economics at George Mason University, USA and general director of the Mercatus Center. He edited the  volume Public Goods and Market Failures, and wrote Explorations in the New Monetary Economics with Randall Kroszner.   His most recent books, In Praise of Commercial Culture, What Price Fame?, and Creative Destruction, have all focused on the role that economics plays in cultural and artistic development.  He also runs (with Alex Tabarrock) Marginal Revolution, one of world's best read blogs.  Dr. Cowen received his Ph.D in economics from Harvard University.
