Nishtha Singhal
Winner of the first eCatalyst points system for best contribution!

My association with CCS began with LACS 2004, from where I emerged as a young individual with a more liberal and less hypocritical perspective towards life. LACS 2004 brought me into the fold of CCS and I found myself in a flood of opportunities to utilize my time constructively and in the right direction. I have remained involved with CCS by attending various talks, writing for ecatalyst and am planning to apply for the Research Internship this year.

As far as my literary endeavours go, I spend alot of time composing poetry and writing articles on contemporary issues. Right from my first year in college, I have been writing for my college magazine, for The Campus Paper, for a career magazine called Educare and have been Secretary of the Creative Writing Society of LSR. I have won awards at the school, college and national level in creative writing competitions in both Hindi and English language. However, this special mention (for contribution to ecatalyst) comes as recognition of my writings on issues of general importance and will encourage me immensely. Thank you.
