EXPLORE THE IDEA OF LIBERTY IN TODAY'S POLITICS: BLOCK YOUR SEATS TO ATTEND OUR BIGGEST CONFERENCE!
Swatantra Party, founded in 1959, was India's first and only national political party to advance principles of free enterprise, personal liberty, and individual rights. Featuring voices of prominent liberal thinkers, the party was the only substantive alternative to Nehruvian socialism at a time when the political theatre of India was monopolised by the stringent Congress Party system.
Centred around the launch of over 27000 historical papers from the party's offices, CCS is bringing together intellectuals, historians, and political experts to reflect upon the legacy of the erstwhile Swatantra party. The panels will also be exploring the idea of liberty in politics, as well as examining the relevance of a truly liberal political party in today's India.
Date: 3 February 2018
Venue: Auditorium, Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, New Delhi
Time: 10 AM to 6 PM
Kindly note: All delegates interested in participating in the conference are urged to register beforehand, in order to reserve their seats.

TRANSFORMING LOW-COST PRIVATE EDUCATION IN INDIA THROUGH INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS: REGISTER TO ATTEND AVPN WEBINAR
Affordable Private Schools (APS) have emerged as a vital response to the rising demand among the country’s poorest for an education of their choosing. The proliferation of these low-fee schools has indicated a marked disillusionment amongst parents with public delivery, and a sustained perception of private schools as better sites of quality education.
Taking into account this trend, CCS President Parth J Shah and Ashish Karamchandani of FSG Advisory will be co-hosting an AVPN webinar on 'Transforming Low-Cost Private Education in India through Innovative Solutions and Policy Reforms'.
