Create and Share Inspiring Stories on Education
Centre for Civil Society is organizing "EduDoc 2016", an international short film competition with 'education' as the primary theme. If you are an edupreneur, a teacher or an activist who works in the educational sector, create a five minute documentary on the work that you do and share it with us. The best three videos will be awarded cash prizes, and the top five will be screened at the annual School Choice National Conference on 03 December 2016.

The School Choice National Conference (SCNC) is CCS's flagship conference on education which brings together edupreneurs, education planners, school officials and Government officers, to discuss and deliberate on the future of education in India. The 8th edition of this conference with see a strong reflection of the ongoing debates and discussions surrounding the formulation of the New Education Policy by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development.

Conference and Book Launch: "Liberalism in India: Past, Present and Future"
CCS will be hosting a Conference along with the launch of Festschrift with original chapters by 15 authors on the history and development of liberal thought in India, as well as some of the most pressing issues facing our country today. Contributing authors include Atanu Dey, Laveesh Bhandari, Barun Mitra, Surjit Bhalla, J P Narayan, Jaithirth Rao, Nirvikar Singh, R Jagannathan, Ashok Desai, Nitin Pai, Parth J Shah, Gurcharan Das, Hindol Sengupta, Seetha Parthasarathy and Lord Alderdice.
